Filling the Testing Gap: Testing Your Client-side Code with Jasmine??

Filling the Testing Gap: Testing Your Client-side Code with Jasmine??

What comes to mind when you hear the word "testing?" For many the answer is back-end unit testing. For others it is interface driven testing using something like Cucumber or Selenium. But working on web applications, one layer of the application is consistently neglected: JavaScript. As the JavaScript code in web applications becomes ever more complex, it is more important than ever to have a solid foundation of unit tests to build on. Jasmine is a testing framework that can help you do just that.
