WalkArlington to Debut High View Park/Waverly Hills/Cherrydale Walkabout on Sunday, May 18, 3-5 p.m.

Celebrate Neighborhood Day weekend with WalkArlington and your neighbors in High View Park, Waverly Hills, and Cherrydale as we explore the highlights and unique history of these three walkable neighborhoods on foot.

The 2.5 mile, multi-stop route that will be covered on May 18th is a shortened version of the full two-loop High View Park/Waverly Hills/Cherrydale Walk Friendly Community Walkabout, the latest in our series of nearly two dozen neighborhood walking tours and the fourth and final route in our limited edition "Walk Friendly Community” Walkabouts.

Six residents of High View Park, Waverly Hills, and Cherrydale informed and guided the development and debut of this final home-grown Walkabout. They will join forces with other local experts to lead the May 18th Walkabout, with additional remarks from County Board member Mary Hynes.

Rain or shine. Free of charge and open to all ages. Meet outside Langston-Brown Community Center, 2121 N. Culpeper St. Visit WalkArlington.com, contact [masked] or call[masked] for more information.
