Info - Animal Sculptures DC meetup

Regarding the Animal Sculptures walk:

Weather forecast for Saturday July 14th says 88 to 91 degrees, with small chance of thunderstorms.

We'll try to do as many of the 20 stops as we can between 9:15 and 11:30 am. If we keep together and don't spend too long at each place, we can do most if not all.

I will try to remember to bring my binoculars for us to look at one or two architectural details on upper floors of townhouses.

The first half of the walk is on or near Mass. Ave. beyond Dupont Circle in the Georgetown direction.

We circle back to Connecticut Ave and stop for drinks to go at Teaism, then move to the second half on the other side of Connecticut, moving towards Scott Circle at 16th and Mass.

If you want to see some of the animals, visit -- I have been tweeting a photo a day.

I might try an experiment (I've never done this) of texting tweets to TigerBosco that say our location on the walk and the time and any thoughts from the group. Sort of a journal.

Looking forward to this safari, and hope to see you then.
