Metasploit live and in action during our first CTF!

First ever DCNYC CTF. We will be using metasploit to attack a live host and hope for participation from the group. This should be a very interactive session with analysis of successful exploits.

Thanks Jason for sharing about how to configure my environment, Scott for facilitating and hooking things up, and especially to Kevin for forfeiting a stab at the flag to teach and inspire noobs! Look for to the next one!

Joseph - you will need to bring your own gear in order to participate. We will provide a couple of attack hosts for this first demo but will not be providing quest laptops.

Do we need to bring a laptop to paticipate?

Pushing the meetup out for a couple of weeks. I have been buried in a project and haven't had the quality time to put into building the CTF infrastructure.

Scrapped the PHP review. This meetup with be our first Capture the Flag contest. You will be able to attack the host we setup live and we will discuss the attacks and exploits as they happen. Should be fun.
