Introduction to Python on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM -- all levels of experience welcome!

Please bring your laptop!

Besides your laptop, the only other requirements are:

-- Access to a Python console ("Anaconda Prompt" or "IPython" will work for those running the Anaconda distribution).
-- A shell/terminal, e.g. "cmd" on Windows; "Terminal" on Mac; we recommend Git Bash ( for Windows users.
-- A simple text editor; we recommend Notepad++ ( for Windows users and Atom ( for Mac users.

If you need help installing Python, we recommend Anaconda ( While installing ahead of time is a good idea, we're happy to help you with installation on-site!
