Title: Domain Storytelling a domain
Language: English
Published date: 31/10/2019
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
Description/What we will do?: We’ll leverage Domain Storytelling to collaboratively model a domain.
FAQs:
- Do I have to bring some material?
No, the organisation will bring all the necessary materials to run the workshop smoothly.
- Do I need to have some previous knowledge of Domain-Driven Design or Domain Storytelling?
No, although it would be useful. At the beginning of the Meetup we’ll keep some minutes to introduce the groundings of Domain Storytelling and explain the building blocks of the pictographic language with the focus on the practical exercise.
- What about the workshop structure?
The scope will be to cover 1 example of: Coarse-grained “as-is” Stories (a.k.a. Big Picture), Detailed “as-is” Stories, Detailed “pure” Stories and Detailed “to-be” Stories. We'll be working on teams.

Title: Is DDD for every project?
Language: English
Duration: 15 minutes
Description: Challenging whether a methodology, tool, technology, framework and so on is appropriate for an intended purpose may be hard. We'll explore when should be convenient to apply DDD in a project, when it shouldn't and what cons and pros it will have if we choose the not best-suited choice.
Published date: 31/10/2019

-- Candidate talk 2 --
Title: How to discover Bounded Contexts?
Language: English
Duration: 20 minutes
Description: Usually Bounded Contexts are difficult to grasp and even experienced DDD people struggle to find the right boundaries at first. We'll uncover the toolkit of guidelines and heuristics the DDD community has come up with to find them in our domain.
