CQRS and Event Sourcing Antipatterns with James Nugent

Event Sourcing and CQRS have become common implementation patterns used in core components of many modern software systems, however some use these patterns far more successfully than others.

In this talk we'll look at several common problems which have arisen across projects spanning many different industries, and how to avoid them.

NOTE: this is a preview of a talk that will be delivered at QCONNYC and is being delivered for our group in the hopes of soliciting helpful feedback; please come ready to offer your comments on the talk!

About the Speaker

James is a developer and consultant from Bath, England. He works on the open-source Event Store database and is a connoisseur of cider and old guitars. He has spent several years coming to the conclusion that designing software for operations is more important than designing for developer experience!

    Hi DDD New York.

I was very interested in the topic of last weeks meetup about CQRS anti patterns.

I live in Sydney, Australia so I couldn't come along :(

Did you guys have any slides or notes or anything from that meetup that you'd be able to share?

I'd love to learn from you guys!
