Worum es bei uns geht

Sometimes, an online connection isn’t enough to fully build a thriving community. We understand that – after all, we to crave social connection! That’s why we’ve created the Agile for Humanity Meetup. Monthly (if COVID-19 permits), we will meet to share topics like design thinking, agile, technology, lean startup, and social justice. Speakers from around the world will present these topics, giving us their unique, diverse, and global perspective. Our presenters have participated from Germany, Boston, California, and Tucson.

If an individual can’t come to our meetups, they can still take part in the community from a distance. We’ll offer an interactive virtual webinar so people can engage with the community and get involved in discussions – no matter where they are. People can also access the speakers’ talks through our Agile for Humanity podcast. In this way, we can expand our community even more, facilitating even better conversations and greater collaboration.

Our Goals:

• Build Trust

Organizational Change is an Individual Choice

Balancing individual and collective needs as our organizations evolve.
It is no longer enough to make it through the next reorganization, growth challenge, or market shift. Rather, we must choose to find a way to belong amongst the heaving rates of change we constantly find ourselves in for our own wellbeing.

We are called instead to master the change process itself. We are called, over and over, to deepen our understanding of the value we might create together. And in that understanding, make commitments that are both public and also deeply personal.

These commitments can be at odds with our personal goals and ambitions. The question then becomes: “how might we co-create an organization that fulfills its purpose AND enables us to fulfill our own?”

Enterprise coach Kevin Callahan will explore this question and invite listeners to join him. They can expect to leave the talk with their own questions to explore individually and together.

• I coach individual leaders toward more effectively responding to the complexity they face.

• I guide teams at all levels to meaningfully engage to improve their work together.

• I foster growing organizational agility to minimize risk and keep options open.
