Slot 1: Kubernetes on Azure – build, run and monitor your container applications
Get an overview on the Kubernetes / Container environment on Azure and how the different Azure services are playing well together supporting you to build & run first class container applications.
We cover in this session Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instances, Azure Container Registry, Azure DevOps as CI/CD pipeline and Azure Monitor for Containers.
Slot 2: Azure Functions - running serverless everywhere
Azure Functions 2.0 is the latest release of the serverless compute service on the Azure platform to run code on-demand. In this session you will get an overview what Azure Functions are, on which platform they run and the new capabilities introduced with version 2.0 like Durable Functions.

Daniel Neumann is working for Microsoft as an Azure Technology Solutions Professional. His technology focus as an Azure TSP nowadays includes Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instances, Azure Container Registry, Azure Container Service Engine, Infrastructure as Code with Azure Resource Manager templates and other serverless components in Azure e.g. Logic Apps and Functions.
Daniel is a former Microsoft MVP and has received the award in the category Cloud and Datacenter Management in 2013, 2014 and 2015
