As ever, the last Monday of the month is Berlin Film Directors night. We’ve got a great event planned for August.

Science Fiction doesn’t get much traction in the german film landscape. You can count the number of “Made in Germany” genre classics on one land (Metropolis, Raumpatrouille Orion, Das Arche Noah Prinzip). But in recent years, young as well as established filmmakers are beginning to expand the genre with exciting and highly ambitious projects. This is reason enough to take a closer look, along with panel of filmmakers from the Berlin Sci-Fi community, at the bastard stepchild of the german film world.

The following guests have agreed to join our panel:

- Christian Pasquariello (S.U.M.1)
- Marcus Hanisch (Q - Spukhafte Fernwirkung, Pionier, P)
- Hashem Al-Ghaili (Simulation)

Additional participants may also be announced in the meantime, pending confirmation.

Evening agenda:

1. Introductions and open discussion
2. Scifi Panel
3. Networking

We’re meeting as always in the studio at Wolf Kino (Wildenbruchstraße 6, 12045 Berlin) promptly at 19:00. Entry fee is 3€.
