Trace the root cause of bugs in a matter of seconds, saving your developers' time and sanity. Talk: Full Deployment with Azure and Azure DevOps Full power of Azure and DevOps techniques to automate the development, infrastructure and deployment into Azure will be showed. Sebastian Schütze will be showing us a sample application, that is creating a Office 365 user with metadata from SharePoint lists, with license and group assignment as well as sending custom mails with the new user password. This one uses the full power of the new V2 beta for Azure Functions to authenticate and access the Microsoft Graph with C# and Exchange with PowerShell in conjuction with storage queues. We will see the high level architecture explained. But we don’t stop here. He will show how you can deploy everything into azure with with ARM-Templates in a CI / CD pipeline and configure everything as much as possible by scripts. Even registering the Azure AD application. During presentation he will deploy this application from scratch. Cross fingers that everything will work! :) Ah, and by the way. This application is planned to be open sourced as a best practice application for Azure & DevOps. Speaker: Sebastian Schütze Sebastian is an Azure Nerd with focus on DevOps and VSTS that converted from the big world of SharePoint and O365. He was working with O365 since 2013 and loved it ever since. As his focus shifted in 2017 to more DevOps related topics in the Microsoft Stack. He learned to love the possibilities of automation. Besides writing articles in his blog and German magazines, he is still contributing to the SharePoint Developer Community (and PnP SharePoint) to help to make the ALM part a smoother place to live in.

Schindler Digital Business implemented a full Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platform following Microsoft best practices. A lot has been done and a lot still has to follow. Sebastian will show how Schindler combines the power of development, deployment and automation with Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS) and Azure to deploy their applications for SharePoint Online and Office 365. Speaker: Sebastian Schütze Sebastian Schütze is a Senior SharePoint Developer at Schindler Digital Business. Talk 2: Hop on the serverless adventure with NodeJS Serverless is the new black - I can deploy my application to the cloud without ever worrying about infrastructure. We all remember the days when we had to spend hours and hours configuring and debugging web servers when all we wanted was to just code and test our app. Those days are long gone and it’s time for us to unlearn how to provision and manage infrastructure while focusing on building and scaling applications. Speaker: Simona Cotin (Microsoft) Simona (who is from the Cloud Developer Advocates Team at Microsoft) is an enthusiastic full stack developer with experience in building rich data visualization for network data and more recently in the cloud. Communities power her up and that's why she is co-organising the Javascript London meetup.
