If you aspire to be one of the successful 5am clubbers then this early morning class is a great way to start the day and meet challenges with a focused mind and clam body.

Can’t touch your toes? Don’t sweat it. Whether you’re super bendy or stiff as a board, all fitness and flexibility levels are welcome. I take a slower, mindful approach to postures (asana) which are held for a longer time and allow the body to slowly adapt.

Studies have linked physical stagnation and long periods of sitting with an increased risk of diabetes, heart disease, anxiety and even cancer! This is your chance to turn that around.

You will be guided into the physical postures (asana) and the activation of energy centres (chakras). The healing benefit of each asana may also be mentioned. Most classes will incorporate breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation.

With regular practice you will build awareness, flexibility and strength of mind, body and emotions. The nervous and hormonal systems in the body are balanced resulting in improved physical health, greater emotional balance and inner harmony.
