Two times a month on every second Sunday (7pm) and fourth Thursday (9pm) we screen a recent foreign language classic with English subtitles. It’s always at Cinecenter and the host Katie Crook will always be there an hour beforehand (Thurs) and/or an hour afterwards (Sun) to meet and greet and have a few drinks. Tickets are €10 or you can use Cineville so its a bargain to boot. Tickets can be booked or reserved in advance.
At CineExpat we screen recent foreign language films with English subtitles. This time we're screening an Italian crime drama called PIRANHAS.
► Piranhas follows a group of 15-year-old boys from the Sanità neighborhood in Naples. They’re making their way into the city’s world of crime. Longing for for money and power, they think that crime can be their only chance of life.
► Piranhas is based on the novel La paranza dei bamibini (The Children in the Trawl Nets). The title refers to the name of a legal investigation into the children used by the Camorra as adults.
► Join the host Helena for drinks before the film (from 20:00) in the cinema bar! Film starts promptly at 21:00.
* Quick note of how the nights work - Please purchase or reserve tickets in advance via the Tickets link above - the nights are very popular and I wouldn't want you to miss out on the film.*
