### Update ###
Dear relaxed passengers,
we would like to inform you that we will be having some student guests with us who would like to do a video footage of the autonomous driving community. For those of you not willing to be part of images / videos please tell us at the beginning of the meetup.
### Update ###

Bring your RC car assembled or in parts, we will get it to run with the donkeycar framework

Guideline if you buy a RC car which shall be converted to a Robocar:

- Brushed motor => no need for high speed
- NiMH battery => less sensitive to mechanical impact compared to Li-ion battery
- ESC not integrated into remote control receiver
- 3 wire steering servo

- Building cars and get them to run, get your hands dirty
- Promise, no talks, no video conference, just working together and helping each other

How little effort it is to turn a RC car into a RoboCar is documented at https://robocaresslingen.github.io/BookDownDocu/donkeyCar.html.

An example parts list is at https://robocaresslingen.github.io/BookDownDocu/donkeyCar.html#parts-list

A very good intro to the donkeycar framework by Tawn Kramer is hosted on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZ4ESrtfShs
