Who we are:
Fun Bootcamps aims to be the beginning of a health, fitness & social initiative in the city of Vienna and is run by an experienced fitness enthusiast with training across a number of sports and disciplines. The aim of this meetup is to connect people from all over Vienna (and further) in a common vision of:
"Wholesome nutrition, positive psychology and exercise"

Level of Fitness:
All Levels (as long as you are mobile)! So from complete beginners, who haven't exercised in decades, to Hardcore Athletes - you're all welcome!
*NB: while the bootcamps really are made for everyone, they are still bootcamps and if you struggle with general mobility (i.e. if you have an injury or chronic condition that makes movement difficult, etc.), we do recommend you speak to a doctor before joining us (as you should with any exercise if you really do struggle with mobility)

Language of Instruction:
Our bootcamps are run in English, but our coach also speaks German and can clarify anything if need be, so please don't let that scare you off!

Programme:
We meet at 8.30am at a given workout location (can differ from event to event, so please pay attention to the event heading and map) and all warm up together. Bootcamps last about 1 hour including the warm-up and a cool down. We like to mix things up, so the workout is different every time, but what you can count on is getting a great workout and having fun every time. After we finish, you are invited to head to a nearby restaurant or cafe to enjoy a healthy breakfast. Do please note that this is not officially part of the bootcamp, so you can pick where you want to go or whether you want to go at all! For those that do go, our group usually gets to the restaurant at about 10.00am and you can stay as long as you like to eat breakfast and get to know your new friends.
(*Please note: During the bootcamp, we all leave our belongings and bags in one place around which the class happens for safety. So don’t forget to bring water and anything else you'll need during OR AFTER the workout!)

Augarten (Gefechtsturm) Saturday FREE Fun Bootcamp

Programme: We meet at 8.30am SHARP at the circular Flakturm (South West corner of the Augarten, Vienna. - SEE MAP -) and all warm up together. Bootcamps last about 1 hour including the warm-up and a cool down. We like to mix things up, so the workout is different every time, but what you can count on is getting a great workout and having fun every time. To avoid being annoyingly mysterious: we focus solely on bodyweight training, so draw heavily from HIIT training ideas. The workouts are designed to be quite tough and to stimulate cardiovascular activity by challenging chosen muscle group combinations in a specific order. During the bootcamp, we all leave our belongings and bags in one place around which the class happens for safety.
