Drones are conquering the skies and in many cases these unmanned aerial objects are more than just toys. Besides taking pictures from above, delivering goods is one key use case. But why should we just deliver books or all the other stuff you can get from amazon an co! Let's think about use cases in healthcare and where drones would be a perfect fit for unmet needs.
With Mamabird.io we have a drone logistic startup as guest which is helping to provide access to quality health care especially for rural areas. Their competency is getting the last mile done. From the plenty imaginable use cases they are currently focusing on maternal and newborn health. This becomes necessary as one billion people are not only far away from any hospital but even without access to all-season roads. During their talk Mamabird is going to show us how they are using this fascinating technology in order to reach these previously unreachable areas. They will demonstrate what customization is needed to deliver lifesaving goods. They will also share their strategy of why it is important to especially involve women in this technological revolution.
After the presentation we will discuss in a few interdisciplinary groups several other similar use cases and concepts.
