When people think of Wisconsin beauty, they tend to focus on nature and rural landscapes, while affiliating urban beauty with places like Europe and Latin America. Yet despite a lack of awareness or promotion, Wisconsin remains full of exceptionally beautiful and historic architecture, churches, and graveyards. This group will travel to sites in Southern Wisconsin to see and experience and learn about these storied landscapes. House hunters, churchgoers, taphophiles, and history buffs, come see the treasures in your own backyard. Whether you are new to the state or rediscovering your homeland, discover the old and the photo-worthy sites that lie on and off the beaten path
UPDATE: the starting location has changed to the Gates of Heaven synagogue in James Madison Park. List of open homes are available.
