Join us Wednesday November 20th as we discuss How to get Top Dollar for your Appraisals. as well as the rise of Tiny Homes across North America (Including coach houses and lane way houses) We will have Daniel Ott, from White Willow Design, and True North Tiny Homes come in to discuss Tinny homes and how they may be the next wave to come across Canada to help with our need for affordable homes, as well as an option for landlords to get the highest and best use for their properties (including the land they sit on). He then spent ten years working alongside his father at the helm of a successful residential construction company, where he gained valuable experience on the job site and in business development. Seeing a gap on the design and planning side of the industry, he struck out on his own to found White Willow Design, a full service luxury residential design firm. White Willow quickly grew to be a leading design firm in the western GTA. In the recent years Dan began to receive more projects changing houses into multi-generational homes or investment properties with multiple units. He again saw a gap in the market place, which lead to True North Tiny Homes. With his knowledge from construction, and luxurious full size homes, he is able to create functional tiny homes without losing the luxurious details. Appraisals: We will also be discussing the BRRR Method and getting top values for your appraisals. Refinancing your properties to continuously have your dollars working for you is important, and the less funds you have invested in the property the higher your overall ROI is. Chris and Martin will take us through how to help appraisers see the top value for our properties. Many times there are not comparibles for "legal" Second suites or appraisers do not have the background to properly assess what the property can be worth. We will take you through our own system in how we outline exactly what we did to a property in terms of renovations and adding value, as well as justifying the dollar you are looking for in comparison to the market prices. We know first hand that many appraisals come in much lower than expected, but it doesn't need to be that way.
