Worum es bei uns geht

Calling all Motorcycle riders! At Spirit Motorcycles San Jose we organize Store Rides and everybody is welcome - every motorcycle brand - over 600cc in order to keep up with highway speed when needed. Several customers requested Store Rides and here they are.

All skills levels are welcome (unless specified in the particular ride). Most rides start at our Indian Motorcycle and Victory store (460 Meridian Ave. San Jose) with a nice and hearty breakfast. Safety talk and ready to enjoy the beautiful roads and twisties we have around (150 to 250 miles rides). We organize bike nights on Wednesdays. And we do longer rides as well. We are a bunch of good and friendly people, ready to explore, ride and enjoy.

It does not matter whether you are a beginner or a seasoned rider, whether you have a cruiser of a touring bike, we help each other and enjoy the ride (and we have fun!)

We are driven by the following Objectives:

- Provide a forum for riders enthusiasts to make friends with like minded people.

- Provide opportunities to enjoy different types of rides (night, day, twisties, long rides, hills, etc.)

- Enhance knowledge and ability with professional riders / safety instructors.

Safety is always first and we look forward to having fun together, and making new friends. Looking fwd to meet you.

Distinguished Gentleman's Ride San Jose 2019

Spirit Motorcycles / Triumph San Jose

RIDING DAPPER FOR A CAUSE: WHERE WE’VE COME FROM AND WHERE WE’RE HEADED. Our first two DGR San Jose Team raised over $$60000 with only 300 Silicon Valley Dappers. Join us in 2019 and make a difference. WIN DISTINGUISHED PRIZES Above all, the greatest prize is raising funds and awareness to men’s health… - Prostate cancer affects 1 in 9 men in the United States and is the 2nd leading cause of cancer death. - 3 out of every 4 suicides are men. Worldwide, every minute a man dies by suicide. Your commitment will benefit our fathers, sons, brothers and friends and we are truly grateful for all of your participation. That being said, we are introducing a bit of competition amongst the gentlefolk in the San Jose ride. For those who are registered and have embraced the spirit of the cause and theme, a selection of exquisite prizes will be bestowed to the: - Most Dapper Gentleman - Most Dapper Lady - Most Distinguished Facial Hair - Most Distinguished Motorcycle - Most Dapper Rider & Pillion Top 3 Highest fundraisers - 1st place - 2nd place - 3rd place Winners will be announced at the end of the ride at 456 Meridian Ave - Triumph San Jose where food, fun and fellowship will flourish. On Sunday, September 29th, 2019, tens of thousands of distinguished gentlefolk in hundreds of cities worldwide will don their cravats, tweak their mustaches, press their tweed and sit astride their classic and vintage styled motorcycles to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and men's mental health. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia by Mark Hawwa. It was inspired by a photo of Mad Men’s Don Draper astride a classic bike and wearing his finest suit. Mark decided a themed ride would be a great way to combat the often-negative stereotype of men on motorcycles, whilst connecting niche motorcycle communities together. That first ride in 2012 brought together over 2,500 riders across 64 cities. The success of the event encouraged the founder to consider how it could be used to support a worthy cause.

IMRG - Mountain Meadows & Mining Towns (3 day weekend ride)

Spirit Motorcycles San Jose

This is an open ride hosted by Indian Motorcycle Riders Group of San Jose. This is also a weekend ride departing San Jose on Friday, October 4th and returning Sunday, October 6th. Our destination is Susanville, California, an old lumber and mining town. We'll be lodging at the Diamond Mountain Casino in Susanville and with discounted rooms available for the group. Discounted rooms are limited so reserve yours soon. See below for details. Susanville is home to two state prisons so for some of you, this might be an opportunity to visit some old friends (zing!). As with most rides, the treasure is found in the journey, not the destination, and the trek to and from Susanville will be classic motorcycling along some terrific NorCal roads chock full of "Instagrammable" moments. We'll wind our way through mountain meadows along the Sierras, next to rivers and railroad trestles, with gorgeous sweeping vistas filling our views. More adventure awaits on Saturday with an optional ride that will take riders to the Lassen Volcanic National Park. It's rich in hydrothermal sites like Bumpass Hell, with its acres of bubbling mud pots. The summit of Lassen Peak Volcano offers views over the surrounding wilderness. Nearby, the "Devastated Area" is littered with lava rocks from its last eruption. We may stop for a flashlight tour of the lava caves so bring your own light or they have some available to rent. Saturday night will feature a dinner hosted by Spirit Motorcycles and the San Jose Indian Motorcycle Riders Group. Dinner will be held at the hotel in a private room with an outdoor patio. Hope you can join us!
