New year, new statistics - and time to kick-off the discussion again.
How are we doing in general on Women in Technology? How are we doing on Female Entrepreneurs?
Only 17% women working within IT, and still decreasing numbers of women who in the end chooses an IT related study, still we keep hearing that an increasing number of companies within the tech industry are very interested in hiring in Women as IT experts. More and more companies understand the importance of diverse teams in order to get ahead of the competition within innovation but are also vocal about how difficult it still seems to get hold of the great female tech talents.
Come to the Meetup and participate in an impuls-presentation, discussion and networking. A meet up for female & male thought leaders, entrepreneurs and all power ladies and men on changing topics.
We are excited to have Christine Regitz to open this Meetup. Christine has been working in the software development of SAP in various roles and functions since 1994, mainly within industries and most recently in the areas of SAP Fiori and SAP Cloud Platform. Christine is founder of the SAP Business Women´s Network, business coach and mediator and acts as employee representative on the SAP Supervisory Board. In 2016, she became vice president of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. in Bonn and holds seats on various committees in organizations such as the "European Center for Women and Technology" and "CyberMentor".
After the impuls presentation, Johannah Ilgner, our friend from the female Coworking Space "Cowomen Heidelberg" will facilitate our Fishbowl discussion before we will have rich opportunities for networking.
