Worum es bei uns geht

INACTIVE GROUP. Will close the group page on Nov 30 2018 as I am no longer based in Berlin and so far no new one signed up to lead the group.


This group is for anyone who wants to practice Vipassana/Insight/Mindful meditation in Tiergarten with others!
As a general rule, we will practice silent meditation for 40-60 min. Beginners welcome!

I made this group because I love meditating outdoors and miss practicing in a group!


Please bring something to put between yourself and the ground, which may be damp. Feel free to bring any cushion if you like to be more comfortable. You are welcome to sit, walk, or lie on the ground and change among these modes during the meditate time.

__For newbies__

I can brief you on the basics of the practice in the beginning, if needed. I recommend you check this page ( ) for useful tips, since I am not a trained meditation teacher, although happy to share what I know.

If you prefer a guided meditation, I suggest you download a guided meditation audio ( ) and listen to it with your headphone when you meditate with us.

Please be respectful of others and remain silent/make as little noise as possible for the duration of the time.

Please be careful with your belongings during meditation!

Online intro to meditation course (Feb/March 2019)

Registration opens on Jan 27.

I also have done mindfulness based psychotherapy recently with Peter Strong and found it immensely helpful.
