Bad Salzschlirf to Pfordt via basalt rocks with the option to swim

We start in Bad Salzschlirf and hike through the Kurpark and the place with the healing water springs. There is a first option to cool down with water. We continue to a Mary cave and then through the forest with basalt rocks. Then we hike to the lake in Pfordt with the option to swim. For the others there is a restaurant with garden nearby.

We meet in Fra Hbf at 9:15 at the beginning of platform 8 for RE 50 departing at 9:26. A Deutschlandticket or RMV annual ticket is recommended, but you can also buy a single day ticket.

The distance is ca. 15 km. Most is in the shade (park/forest). Have a look at the route and elevation in the photos section. Bring enough to drink and lunch for the way with you.
