- SkillShare June
Sorry for the hiatus guys, had some things on. We're back with a new idea.. SkillShare Forum: The Project Brief How do you begin a new design project? • Do you start with pen and paper? • Do you use any wireframing tools? • How do you decide on colour swatches, fonts and design assets? Moving from our traditional format demos, I want to bring a group of designers together to share tips, tools and ideas. Bring your laptop/tablet or just join the conversation, the aim is to create a relaxed social atmosphere for creatives to help each other learn and improve. We are in the central venue on the Strand, hopefully easy for people to get to, and have booked the upstairs room. Any experience or skill level welcome to join in, please ask any questions in the comments below!
- London Dribbble Championships 2015
Following last years much loved event (http://www.meetup.com/London-SkillShare/events/189217492/), we are hosting an all new 2015 London Dribbble Championships! This year will have some new rounds, better giveaways and a final round playoff, will you be this year's random doodle champion? The rules are simple, How would you redesign a tortoise? Advertise a new toothbrush, design a new pound coin or a time-travel app. The rounds are chosen at random and you have a few minutes to create an original idea. Once the sketches are complete, we have a round of voting for our favourites. Use the provided 'like' stickers to upvote the best designs on display, whilst taking a chance to chat with your fellow competitors. Once the votes are counted our champion is crowned London's greatest random doodler. There is a fancy statue and you can brag about it until next year! Venue is still unconfirmed but please show interest by RSVP on the right or by asking questions in the comments.
