We are a group of improvisors who want to play improv in the english language. <br>Improvisation Theatre just for fun and to get to know each other and try something new - stepping out of your comfort zone can be scary .. but ... as we know that is where the magic happens!!

For beginning to intermediate level players
What is improv?
Improvisation is an unscripted performance, created spontaneously by the players on stage. In other words, it's just like real life!
Why is it great?
You improve your confidence and presence in life. Family, friends, colleagues, and your boss will notice!
You lose your fear of losing it. Because we'll lose it sometimes, and it's fun!
You notice that words do come easy. With anyone and anywhere.
You connect to others in a deeper and more meaningful way. Because we listen. We accept. And we support.
And did we mention it's loads of fun? Well, it is.
So join us!
Format
- 3-level course
- join independently any of them
- 1 level course : 4 continuous Mondays (except public holidays).
Topics per level
Level 1: Introduction to Improv and Theatre: Authenticity!
Level 2: Storytelling without a narrator: God is you.
Level 3: Traps, snags, and pitfalls and how to avoid them.
You can join independently level 1 or 2 or 3 or all.
Participants: 5 to 10
Schedule: Mondays 19:00-22:00
Price per level (i.e. 12 teaching hours):
150 EUR for IICV members (become a member here)
170EUR for non IICV members
Level: Beginner to intermediate
Location: the Subspace - Lustkandlgasse 12 (door to the right of the main entrance), 1090 Wien
Facilitator: Alexander Starz
(Who? The Music for Improv guy....whatchama call it... Alex...something with wheels...sounds funny in German...Achsel...Axle...something like that. Oh yes, Axel! You don't know him? Meet him at Music for Improv. Or Improv Choir. Nice chap.)

What is it ?
These sessions are open to everyone regardless of experience level of improv. We aim to have fun, try out improv, play games, meet new people, in a inclusive environment.
The beginner will be supported by the leader and the rest of the community, the experienced improvisers will train their skills !What do we do ?
- Part 1 - Warm up games
- Part 2 - Topic of the session focus games and exercise
- Part 3 - Scenes based on games, suggestions...
How to register ?
Meetup registration opens on Sunday 13:00 for the following Wednesday meetup.
Should your plans change, we kindly ask you to cancel. For security reason, you cannot join the session if you did not registered.Anything to tell us ?
