The meetup will be hosted by INFOMOTION GmbH with hands-on labs and exciting talks from IBM and INFOMOTION experts - followed by enough time for a few drinks, food and networking. We look forward to seeing you there!

This time we offer in addition to the meetup (starting at 6pm) two fascinating hands-on labs in the afternoon (starting at 2pm). So bring your laptop, work with the experts and enjoy the meetup afterwards.

Integrating Relational Data with Hadoop and Spark.

The goal of this lab is to show how data in Hadoop systems can be
analyzed and integrated with relational data.

Titel: Semi-Automatic Text Classification with Deep Neural Networks with the aid of huge cluster computation power.

Interpreting text is still a hot topic in science and business. With text classification sentiments, topics or intentions can be understood from texts. This information can be used to enhance decision making.

Considering the variety of appropriate methods for text mining, an automized approach to automatically choose from a set of best practice methods with the aid of parallel cluster nodes and advanced optimization will be introduced. The introduction will be given from a practical view for two implemented real world use cases „Deutsche Bahn Sentiments“ and „SpiegelOnline Topic Classification“.
