Toastmasters International (https://www.toastmasters.org/) is a nonprofit organization with a massive network of 16,400 clubs in 141 countries. It helps people improve their public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive, friendly and fun environment.
Whether you are terrified of public speaking or you want to express yourself better, then this is the right place for you.
A club meeting is held in English and takes place every second Tuesday and lasts 2 hours plus a half-hour break for drinks and dinner. A typical club meeting features prepared speeches, constructive speech evaluations, short impromptu speeches and many other role-based tasks.
Try it out! You are welcome to come as a guest for free up to three times to observe and participate (if you wish). If you find it interesting, you can sign up as a member. As a member, you can get access to online educational programs, mentor support, make speeches, take on different roles, participate in international speech contests and conferences, as well as meet lots of cool people. You can also develop your leadership skills by taking on committee roles in the club and participating in different projects.
