Our first speaker: Paulina Sauma

Title: Gaining unique insights into your user’s experience with eye tracking

Abstract:
In this presentation, I invite UX professional to explore how eye tracking can support their quest to design for the future we want. Through a better understanding of user experiences based on deeper and objective insights, we can drive a positive change for better designed products both on the digital platforms and in real life that have a huge impact on the world. During this session I’ll explain what eye tracking is and why it makes a difference to implement it in UX research methodology.

Short bio:
Paulina Sauma is Eye Tracking Research Advisor in Market Research & User Experience at Tobii Pro – world leader in eye tracking technology. Paulina helps customers understand the power of eye tracking and implement it as a methodology into their current study designs. She graduated with her PhD degree from the University of Manchester studying how users experience and understand subtitled films.

Our second speaker: Lucas Rizzotto

For the first time, we will host a fireside chat with two talented designers.

Fireside topic: Designing for the Senses - Screen Design Evolving into Scene Design

Bio:
Lucas Rizzotto is an award-winning immersive creator, creative technologist and designer. Born in Brazil and raised in the internet, Lucas uses his work to push the boundaries of human interaction to new heights, designing experiences that make people feel something new. His latest work, the social narrative “Where Thoughts Go”, premiered in the Tribeca Film Festival and was known for making 20% of its users cry. He’s now working on a number of new projects that expand the language of XR (including a VR comedy) and is studying the use of VR for treating mental health issues.
