Über uns

This is a group for all those who are tired of Instagram-based yoga ;). For all those who want to experience what alignment of the body acually means, to learn how to release tensions and bring relief to overloaded mind.

No previous yoga experience required :)

YOGA METHOD:

  • Whatever Instagram might suggest, the aim of this yoga method (and yoga in general) is not a performance ;)
  • We use the asana pratise to grow the understanding of the functioning of the body&the mind and, ultimately, to master both :)
  • In this method, we build a complete posture starting from foundations rather than from local movements of separate body parts, in order to practise safely and harmoniously.
  • We don't hesitate to use props (such as bricks, belts, blankets etc) in order to enable everyone to finally experience what right alignment really means
  • and last (but not the least!), we use assisted relaxation to bring relief to the restless mind.

THE TEACHER : Martyna
I am a dedicated yoga teacher, medical doctor & Vipassana meditator

I have been practising Yoga since 2003 and received teacher training in India under the guidance of Sharat Arora (who has 40 years of yoga teaching experience and was an assistant of BKS Iyengar for 7 years).

I have reoriented my doctor career to fully focus on yoga and evidence-based lifestyle medicine.

At the moment, I focus on private yoga classes, but I also organize some events, workshops and retreats which I will be sharing in this group.

I speak fluently in both English and French.
