WiDS Villach is a group for all data science enthusiasts. We aim to connect data scientists, regardless of gender, and to support women in the field. At the WiDS Villach events you will hear about the latest data science related research and applications in a broad set of domains, learn how leading-edge companies are using data science for success, and connect with the local scene.
Women in Data Science (WiDS) started as a conference at Stanford in November 2015. Now, WiDS includes a global conference, with approximately 150+ satellite events worldwide; a datathon, encouraging participants to hone their skills using a social impact challenge; and a podcast, featuring leaders in the field talking about their work, their journeys, and lessons learned.
