Are you still getting over the long winter blues? As a regular NYC Debate member, do you enjoy the spirited debates in a fun and friendly setting?

Join us for a day trip to the Governor's Island. This day-long event will include a scenic ferry ride (from Manhattan or Brooklyn), a picnic, and of course, copious rounds of debates and discussions!

This event is FREE -- however, each member is responsible for bringing their own lunch, snacks, and beverages. The cost of a ferry ride is $2 (round trip). For more info regarding the ferry service and schedule, click here (http://www.govisland.com/html/visit/directions.shtml).

Also, please note that this event is held during the Memorial Day weekend.

______________________________

Additional considerations:

• Each member can bring up to two guests.

• Each member is encouraged to bring a debate topic.

• Pets are NOT permitted on the Island.
