Bubble Tea and Big Ideas @The Asian Market
Details
Join us for Bubble Tea & Big Ideas....a secular meet-up for people who enjoy meaningful conversation, good company, and trying new foods. We gather inside the food court of the Asian market, where you can grab bubble tea, a bánh mì, a sweet from the bakery or a small savory dinner before settling in.
Each month, we explore a different theme or question that helps us connect more intentionally and get to know one another beyond small talk. All perspectives are welcome, as long as they’re kind, curious, and respectful.
November: Gratitude & Grief
Question:
• What are you grateful for that doesn’t get said often?
How can feeling gratitude and grief coexist?
Has grief ever helped you appreciate something or someone more deeply?
In Humanism, meaning is created through human connection. How do grief and gratitude shape the way we build those connections?
What practices help you notice small meaningful moments during difficult times?
When remembering someone you've lost, what memory or quality brings you the most gratitude?
what personal (and secular) rituals help you honor loss or celebrate what remains?
What are you grateful for today that you might not have appreciated when you were younger?
