Delco Republican Liberty Caucus

I'm writing to let you know about the newly-formed Pennsylvania chapter of the Republican Liberty Caucus.  The purpose and dedication of the RLC can be summarized by their endorsement of Dr. Paul in the primary and more importantly the fact that they did not cave in to pressures to support Romney during the General Election.

The RLC is a serious organization formed to develop the network of professional and tactful campaigners and activists that are needed to continue our movement.

The Pennsylvania RLC started with 10 chartered members, 4 of which are members of Delco For Liberty (Rocco Moffa, Tom Boggia, Lindsey Mueller, and Dale Kerns), and since then has expanded to an approximate of 40 members. The RLC of PA is designed to have a bottom up approach. After we have 6 members from Delaware County, we can officially start our local or county chapter. The local chapter will assume the responsibility of educating politicians, removing and replacing politicians, endorsing candidates and issues, and in a nutshell spreading the message of liberty!

Your membership makes you a delegate to both the national and state conventions. Signing up through our state site the annual membership dues are $25. In 2013 we will hold our first state convention in Harrisburg, push liberty issues in our 2013 legislative agenda, and look to replace municipal and school board leaders with liberty candidates.

I hope you will join us as we concentrate on Pennsylvania from the local level to Harrisburg!!

The press release announcing the formation of the RLCPA follows

Republican Liberty Caucus Chapter formed in Pennsylvania

The Pennsylvania Chapter of the Republican Liberty Caucus was approved
for an official charter by the Republican Liberty Caucus National Committee on Wednesday, November 14, 2012.

“We want to encourage liberty-minded Republicans and anyone who
prefers a strict interpretation of the United States Constitution to become
more active in the Republican Party,” stated interim Chair Lois Kaneshiki
of Blair County.

“Reform-minded Republicans were unhappy with the way they were
treated at the RNC Convention in August, but our message is to stay involved
with the GOP.  We want liberty-minded Republicans to be more involved in
Republican Primary elections and the electoral process in general.”

The RLC of Pa will have its first official convention on
Saturday, April 20, in Camp Hill, to elect permanent officers and adopt
permanent bylaws.

Founded in 1991, the Republican Liberty Caucus advocates individual
rights, limited government and free enterprise.  It supports the Constitutional
restrictions on federal government powers enumerated in Article 1, Section 8 as
an absolute limit on all government functions and programs.  It opposes the
adoption of broad and vague powers under the guise of general welfare or
interstate commerce.
