For the July meeting of the Denver Astrology Group, we are going to do a workshop where we interpret the birth charts of attendees and discuss how the current astrological weather is manifesting in changes or events in their lives, focusing in particular on the recent eclipses in Cancer and Capricorn.
Chris Brennan and Leisa Schaim will lead the discussion, where we will take charts from the audience and then talk about which topics or areas of life may be affected by the current eclipse series. Through a dialogue with each person about what has been happening in those areas of life since the eclipses moved into their current signs, we hope to help the group learn how eclipses can play out in real life. While we cannot promise that everyone who attends the meeting will have their chart read, it should be an interesting and educational experience for all involved.
The main theme that we will focus on will be the idea of eclipses representing great beginnings and endings. If anyone has any good examples of how eclipses have manifested in their life in that way when falling in a particular part of your chart in the past, we hope that you will be willing to share your story at the meeting.
We can only read charts from people with accurate birth times for this meeting, since that is what creates a full birth chart to know where the eclipses are falling, so please only submit your chart for consideration if you are certain about your birth time. Please also only submit your chart for reading if you are willing to share some of your life experiences with the group, as this will be a two-way conversation to illustrate how these techniques work in real people's lives.
-- Meeting Times and Fee --
The meeting will run from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
The fee for attending the meting is $10.
Note that the Mercury Cafe also serves brunch earlier in the day, so if anyone wants to come early, around 1:00 PM, there will probably be some other astrologers there having brunch.
-- Parking --
If you can find a spot to park on the street then it is free, although there is a two hour limit on some spots. The lot immediately adjacent to the Mercury Cafe building is also free on the weekends. The parking lot right across from the Mercury Cafe on the other side of California Street charges $2 for parking on weekends.
-- Looking for Speakers --
We are looking for speakers for future meetings of the Denver Astrology Group. If you are interested in giving a talk, or you know a local astrologer who we should host for a talk, please email Chris and Leisa at: [masked] and [masked].
We look forward to seeing everyone at the meeting this Saturday!
