“Dogtooth” @Alamo Drafthouse Sloans Lake

Let’s go watch Yorgos Lanthimos—Letterboxd’s favorite director of quirky dark comedies—third feature film Dogtooth, the film that put him on the map and frequently referenced by those who didn’t care for The Favourite (me) and Poor Things (also me) as “the old Yorgos”. The twist is that I haven’t seen it!

This is a special 4K restoration presentation so it should be a nice treat.

Synopsis: A controlling, manipulative father locks his three adult offspring in a state of perpetual childhood by keeping them prisoner within the sprawling family compound.
