SUMMARY:Mock Interviews\, Job Search Labs & Cheesecake
DESCRIPTION:Denver Outdoor Adventures\nInterviewing is hard to practice al
one\, and job searching can feel isolating. Agile Denver is opening a room
where people can get useful practice\, work on real job-search materials\
, and meet others who are willing to help.\n\nThis is a free\, flexible ca
reer event for people across roles\, industries\, and experience levels. C
ome for one activity or stay for the whole evening to casually network wit
h the community\, there's no required expectation other than having fun!\n
 \n**What to Expect**\n\n* **Mock Interviews** Practice a behavioral\, recr
 uiter\, hiring-manager\, technical\, portfolio\, leadership\, or case inte
rview with a volunteer professional. Each session runs about 15-20 minutes
: focused practice followed by respectful\, practical feedback. Mock inter
view space is limited. Come early to practice your interviewing skills! We
'll make as many thoughtful matches as possible based on role\, interview
type\, experience level\, and volunteer availability. Walk-up sessions may
  also be available.\n\n**Request a mock interview:** https://forms.gle/Phf
 uJorVqkLwZKh2A\n**Volunteer as an interviewer:** https://forms.gle/uEYcW4o
YsvmRPqa46\n\n* **Job-Search Labs** Bring your laptop and a pen\\\, and wo
rk on something real\\. Facilitators Rayna and Dan run a two part session
that ends with two things you can actually say out loud in an interview\\\
, a personal brand statement and a success story\\\, built from your own m
aterial in the room\\. In Part 1\\\, Rayna walks you through a single page
worksheet with five prompts\\\, your values\\\, your strengths\\\, the wo
rk that actually energizes you\\\, a problem you fixed that nobody asked y
ou to fix\\\, and what other people say you are best at\\. Shared word ban
ks on each table give you lists to circle from so nobody stalls on a blank
page\\. In Part 2\\\, Dan takes what you have written and helps you shape
it into your brand statement and success story\\\, framed as your definit
 ion of done\\. I help \\[who\\] \\[do what\\] by \\[strength\\]\\\, becaus
e \\[reason\\]\\.\n* **Community Resources and Connection** Meet organizat
ions that support training\, career development\, and employment pathways.
Spend time in the social area\, make new connections\, and enjoy snacks\,
  drinks\, cheesecake\, and cheesecake.\n\n**Who Is This For?**\n\n* People
actively looking for work or considering a career change\n* Professionals
preparing for an internal move or promotion\n* Students\, early-career pr
ofessionals\, and people returning to the workforce\n* Experienced profess
ionals who want to practice or support someone else\n* Individuals who wan
t to volunteer as interviewers and support their community\n* Anyone curio
us about practical\, responsible ways to use tools (including AI) in a job
  search\n\n**Event Details**\n**When**: Monday\, October 5\, 2026\n**Time*
 *: 4pm\n**Where**: Denver\, CO\n**Cost**: Free! and we have cheesecake!\n\

SUMMARY:⚡ZIP IT & SIP IT! 🍺
DESCRIPTION:Denver Outdoor Adventures\n6-Zipline Adventure + Post-Flight B
rews with DOA\n\nReady to spend an afternoon flying through the Colorado f
oothills with your DOA crew?\n\nDenver Outdoor Adventures is teaming up wi
th Denver Adventures for a high-flying afternoon featuring their full 6-zi
pline adventure — including two of the longest and fastest ziplines in C
olorado!\n\nAnd because no DOA adventure is complete without a little post
 -adventure socializing\, we'll head to the on-site Colorado's Best Beers t
avern afterward to grab some local microbrews\, hang out\, swap stories ab
out who screamed the loudest\, and maybe even throw some axes. 🍺🪓\nB
ecause apparently flying through the air at high speed wasn't enough excit
ement for one day.\n\n⚡ THE ADVENTURE\nWe'll be doing the 6-Zipline Adve
nture\, which includes all six ziplines on the course — including the tw
o longest and fastest in Colorado.\nThe course is located in a protected n
ature park just 30 minutes from Denver\, making this an awesome opportunit
y to get outside\, try something different\, and support a locally owned C
 olorado adventure business.\n\nAdventure duration: Approximately 2.5–3 h
 ours\nMaximum rider weight: 245 lbs\nMinimum rider weight: 40 lbs\nPhysica
l requirements: Participants should be in good physical condition\n\nPleas
e review Denver Adventures' "Read Before You Book" information before purc
hasing your ticket so you understand the physical requirements\, restricti
ons\, and policies for participating.\n\n💰 EXCLUSIVE DOA GROUP DISCOUNT
\nDenver Adventures is offering our group a special $20 per person discoun
 t on the full 6-zipline adventure.\n\nDOA group price: $99.99 per person +
6.5% fees\n\nThe private discount code will be provided only to members w
ho RSVP for this Meetup event.\n\n🚨 IMPORTANT — YOUR RSVP DOES NOT RE
SERVE YOUR SPOT\nWe're trying to put together a group of 12 adventurers fo
r this event\, and we want to make sure the available spots go to people w
ho are actually committed to joining us.\n\nAfter you RSVP\, you'll receiv
e the discount code and booking instructions.\n\nYou must purchase your zi
pline ticket within 72 hours of RSVPing.\n\nIf you haven't purchased your
ticket within 72 hours\, you may be removed from the event so the spot can
be opened to someone on the waitlist.\n\nOnce you purchase your ticket\,
you're officially locked in. ⚡\n\nOnce you receive your coupon code\, ge
t your tickets here: https://www.denveradventures.com/zipline\n\n🍺 POST
-ZIPLINE BEERS & AXE THROWING\nAfter we've successfully avoided becoming p
ermanently tangled in the trees\, we'll head over to the on-site Colorado'
 s Best Beers tavern.\nGrab a local microbrew\, hang out with the group\, r
elive your most graceful — or least graceful — zipline moments\, and\,
if you're feeling ambitious\, throw some axes.\n\nParticipation at the ta
vern is optional\, but highly encouraged. After flying through the forest
 for three hours\, you've earned a beer.\n\n🌲 WHY JOIN US?\nBecause it's
summer in Colorado.\nBecause flying through the trees sounds more interes
ting than sitting on your couch.\n\nBecause supporting local Colorado busi
nesses is a good thing.\n\nAnd because you'll get to say you tackled two o
f the longest and fastest ziplines in the state with a bunch of adventurou
s DOA humans.\n\nSpace is limited to approximately 12 participants\, so RS
VP if you're ready to ZIP IT & SIP IT!\n\n⚡Adventure first. Beer second.
Stories forever. 🍺\n\nDenver Adventures is the zipline operator and is
responsible for all booking requirements\, participation restrictions\, s
afety procedures\, cancellations\, and other policies. Please review their
  requirements before purchasing your ticket.
