Needs a location
Join us for a hike at Matthews-Winters Park near Golden and Lakewood. We'll be hiking 4.2 miles with an elevation gain of about 800 feet. This will be a moderate paced hike with short breaks. Come ready to push yourself a bit.
We'll take the Village Walk trail to the Red Rocks Trail then loop back on the Morrison Slide to Red Rocks and Village Walk. If you're late, catch up. Park map. The hike is limited in size, because the parking lot is limited in size.
Directions from JeffCo Web site: From I-70 or U.S. Highway 40, go south on Colorado Highway 26 (Morrison exit) approximately 0.1 mile and turn right at the park entrance.
