Salsa Music

From: user 6.

Hi Everyone,

I gets lots of questions about where to get Salsa music.  Based on these requests, I am putting together a CD for practice and listening.  The CD will be split into 3 parts: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.  The songs will go from slower and easier to hear up to fast and complex.   I am working with one of my DJ’s to pull together a great list of music and then we’ll be “releasing” the CD in the next few weeks.  I’ll let you know when that happens.

In the meantime, I came across a new compilation by iTunes Essentials that isn’t bad.  It is a good cross section of the various types of Salsa music and artists you’ll find in your exploration into Salsa music.  If you search for “Salsa: After Hours” under the iTunes Essentials compilations, you should find this.  Take a listen and let me know what you think.

Happy dancing!
