DESCRIPTION:Denver Small Dog Social\nJoin the Denver Small Dog Social this
  Sunday from 12 pm to 2 pm. We'll go to the new Downtown Westminster Dog A
 rea with the Kokopelli Social Bar right next to the park. The social bar i
 s typically closed on Sundays but will be open especially for us! The soci
 al bar offers beer and mixed drinks\, plus snacks. There are tables by the
  social bar just outside the dog park if you don't want to eat inside the 
 dog park. You can get more food at the nearby Kokopelli restaurant\, if de
 sired. They allow dogs on the outside patio at the restaurant.\n\nThe addr
 ess of the dog park is 9200 N. Harlan St. but it's actually a couple block
 s east of Harlan. From 88th Avenue\, go north on Harlan to 90th Avenue\, t
 hen turn right and go a couple blocks to Fenton St. You'll see the Lucky S
 trike bowling alley behind the dog park. You can park on Fenton St. or 90t
 h Avenue near the dog park.\n\nThe dog park has 2 sides with no signage. W
 e'll be in the smaller\, left side with the orange shade roof. We'll put u
 p a sign about the meetup to discourage large dogs from entering. Both sid
 es have a picnic table\, adirondack chairs\, shade roof and a drinking fou
 ntain (maybe shut off for the winter).\n\nNote: If you bring dog treats\, 
 please ask the pet parent before feeding to a dog that is not your own. So
 me dogs may be on special diets due to medical problems.\n\nCome browse th
 e swap box for small dog toys\, leashes\, harnesses\, clothing\, accessori
 es\, etc. to find treasures you can use or donate items you no longer need
 .\n\nNo fee\, however\, donations of $1 to $5 are greatly appreciated to h
 elp pay the Meetup.com cost of $179 twice a year. There will be a donation
  box at the event.
