Bring your team and/or group of friends out to play. There must be at least six people that want to play for them to put up the net. Later when it is colder this place will be packed with players, but now you will probably have it to yourselves.
This is a beautiful recreation center with a wood floor in the gym so it is easier on the back and legs, and also had a climbing wall, hot tub, sauna, running track, pool and just about everything else. If U are coming on I-70, it is just about 5 minutes South of I-70 and Kipling on the West side of Kipling.
Admittance is $6.50 or less depending if U are a resident, have a membership card, or if U buy a punch card. Some corporations and/or health benefits programs provide admittance assistance too.
Our group has all levels of players, but this particular meetup ( in other words "event" ) is suppose to have higher levels on Tuesday and lower levels on Thursday, but in practice Thursday usually doesn't have anyone since the recreation center designated it "recreational" against my advice, and Tuesdays usually has higher level players mixed with occasional begineers on two nets if there are enough people. That all takes place when the weather gets cold enough to bring in the crowds. The better place to go as a beginner is to the Dive downtown, as they have lots of courts to find your level.
