Public Indoor hard court Vball 40th &Kipling in NE metro(City of Wheat Ridge)

There are usually a lot of other people that show up for this drop-in that aren't part of meetup. On the 13th of November, we had two courts. One court had excellent 6/2 or 5/1 play, but the other side was jungle ball with people into the net, lifting and throwing the ball and other dangerous activity. Fortunately no one was injured. There were 5 people that knew how to play, but they were dominated by the beginners.

Many times we have enough players so the recreation center will set up two nets. Then the higher level players usually play on the west net. And they play advanced configurations of dedicated setters in most cases. Sometimes they set they net up at 5:30pm.

is what play on the west gym usually looks like. If you don't know what 6-2 or 5-1 means and how to play it competitively, you shouldn't be on the west gym. This is not a time to "learn how to play" on the east gym.

In the past beginners haven't had much fun at this location due to the higher level of play that usually takes place, although we did have some beginners in the past although I wouldn't advise them to attend.

If you know of location that we could rent and control the level of play, contact me, Davey, the principal organizer for this group.

FYI Wheat Ridge rec charges a $6.50 fee for non-resident drop-ins. They have punch cards and memberships for lower prices.

The Andersen gym can be rented if anyone wants to take on that responsibility, then the level of play could be whatever level you like.

This recreation center has scheduled drop-in on Thursday and Sunday, but rarely are there enough to have the required 6 people to set up the net. Those two days would be a great time to have intermediate or beginner volleyball as the gym has volleyball scheduled, but currently no one is attending.
