When you're browsing the web and you come across a slick user interaction, do you check out the code? Do you end up with opinions about how the code was written, and ideas about how you might achieve a similar effect? Do you appreciate not just the beauty of a UI, but the elegance of the code behind it? If you answered "YES!" to these questions, then eGlobal Library will be a great place to use your existing skills and develop new ones while creating products that you can be proud of.

Our ideal candidate has most of the following qualifications:

  • A strong desire to work with a talented team to build elegant, modern web apps.
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field. 2-3 years of experience.
  • A strong understanding of solutions for cross-browser issues (js, css, html).
  • Proficiency with a JavaScript library or framework such as jQuery, Backbone, Angular, Knockout, etc.
  • Familiarity with templating solutions like Handlebars, Mustache, etc.
  • Interest in MV* application architecture with two-way data binding on the UI; JavaScript testing frameworks (QUnit, Jasmine, etc.); Twitter Bootstrap; LESS/Sass; version control (Git, etc.).

Headquartered in the Denver Tech Center, eGlobal Library is a turnkey solution for hosting the online libraries of educational institutions. As the library's UI Developer, you will work closely with the product development team to convert designs into functional products. These products include web sites, mobile apps, browser extensions, and embeddable widgets.

Here at eGlobal Library, we offer a place to grow your career with a respect for a healthy work/life balance. Specifically, we offer competitive salary, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching, life & disability insurance), an onsite gym with locker rooms (free to employees), multiple lunchrooms, free lot and garage parking, as well as quick access to the Denver light rail and within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants and shopping.

You will thrive at eGlobal Library if you:

  • Exude passion about your work
  • Bring talent and motivation to the table
  • Are one of the best at what you do, but you don’t let it go to your head
  • Enjoy collaborating as part of a small, intimate team and making ideas become reality
  • Want to be a part of cutting-edge technology, doing something that no one else is doing
  • Want to be a part of a team that is building a world-class product
  • Want to work for a company that is as forward-thinking as a startup but has the stability and funding most startups lack
