Open All Hours by Roy Clarke
Open All Hours Productions presents the critically acclaimed stage adaptation of the hugely popular legendary BBC television series Open All Hours. Written by Roy Clarke OBE, and first aired in 1973, this much loved classic sitcom has been specially commissioned to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its television premiere.
The production skilfully blends together classic moments from over 20 episodes into a rib ticking evening of visual humour and comedic lines made famous by Britain's favourite shop keeper Albert Arkwright, and his put-upon errand boy, Granville.
As a nation of shopkeepers Arkwright's emporium proves that we love nothing more than the real life that is found in that great institution, the corner shop....

How to get there:
From any of the routes into Burton upon Trent follow signs for the Coors Museum of Brewing. This is situated on the corner of Horninglow Road and Guild Street. Drive along Guild Street, crossing the lights by Frankie & Benny's. At the next crossroads, straight on. You are now in Union Street.
At the next lights, you have a choice of two car parks - right for Sainsbury's (closest) or left for Coopers Square.
It is free to park in the Sainsbury's Car Park after 7pm. The Cooper's Square car park is council owned and you will have to pay until 20:00 (8pm). However, the cost is only £1 for up to 2 hours.
Turn right out of the Burton upon Trent station onto Station Street. Continue until the crossroads and turn right into Union Street. The Brewhouse is on the right hand side after Sainsbury's.
