With the days being so short at this time of the year, why not take advantage of the long nights to create other visual worlds with your camera?
Our Photoforum guest for this session is Tim Simmons, one of the most original photographers of the night, whose work was featured in the FORMAT festival in 2007. Recently he has been photographing Los Angeles After Dark, which has been touring California, as well as contributing to photographic festivals in Copenhagen, Guernsey, and London Art Fair. In conversation with author and teacher Paul Hill, he will reveal his original working methods and unique night vision.
Photoforum participants are encouraged to bring work along in order to share the photographic results of their nocturnal adventures and receive some critical feedback from Tim and Paul.
