Re: [Adobe-User-Group-of-Atlanta] Our Group is growing. Time to do something about space

Hi, Steve. Just wanted to say that I'd be happy to help out with cleaning up the basement. I have a small pickup truck if there are any semi-large items that need disposal, though we'd need to find a good place to haul them.

See you Tuesday evening.

Hi everyone.

I was checking the numbers for this month's meetUp and we have 25 confirmed attendees so far. We seem to pick up a few more each month in the last few days before the meeting, so we could es up with as many as 30 people attending.

Which is completely wonderful! Thanks to you all for supporting us and spreading the word.

We have to thank Sterling Ledet for allowing us to use his facilities for free.

It's also time to recognize that we have limited space in the rooms we have used so far. The good news is that we have a great Plan B. Sterling's place has a basement that we have permission to use. Yaay Sterling!

That's the good news. The 'bad' news is that like many basements, this one is in a state of flux. It was used as office space for some time, but since Sterling moved in it has been more of a rest stop for stuff that hasn't found its final destination yet.

Which is where we come in. Sterling has kindly offered to give us use of his basement for meetings, provided we are willing to help with clearout. All we really need to do is agree to meet one Saturday or Sunday before the November meeting and turn up with some energy, and maybe some spare space in the car to take away any odds and ends that Sterling doesn't need, but we can find a use for ...

I'll mention this again at this month's meeting.

Thanks in advance to all volunteers  :-)

Steve
