Family Cultural Craft Night in Oak Park

Join us for an evening of multicultural fun for the whole family. We’ll have a story and craft that includes a variety of cultures. With materials from Detroit’s Arts & Scraps, we will create a 3-D art piece:” A Gathering of New Friends”. Using the materials provided, each artist will decorate people figures as people from different countries, or even a variety of super heroes.  Young kids can keep it simple, tweens and teens can go more in-depth to create some spectacular art. Sponsored and run by the members of the Oak Park Arts & Cultural Commission (OPAACC) and hosted by the Oak Park Public Library. Join us for a Make and Take event on the Third Thursday of May.
