With Parity Technologies we are organizing an awesome workshop for everyone who will like to learn more about connecting blockchains, Polkadot and Substrate.
Please subscribe to the event using the Eventbrite page (it's for FREE):
Substrate is an open-source modular framework for building blockchains, and is the backbone of the upcoming Polkadot network. Join Parity developer Shawn Tabrizi for this whole day free workshop, were you will be introduced to Substrate as a product and tool.
The morning section of the workshop will walk you through how Substrate works, current state of tooling, the benefits of the modular framework and runtime of Substrate, and what it could bring to your business. This section of the workshop is open to coders, product managers and none coders alike.
The afternoon section of the workshop will be a deep dive into building with Substrate. For this section you will need your laptop and programing knowledge. Make sure to follow chapter 0 of this tutorial to prepare your laptop with Substrate and RUST before the workshop.
If you don't know Rust please read first 4 chapters of the Rust book (approximately 3-6h homework).

And École CREA as venue hosts:
Enter the building by passing MediaMarkt parking on the right until you find an entrance (on the right of the corridor). After entering, turn left into a (very) very long corridor, where you will need to go to the far end. Then turn right. A couple of more turns (indicated by signals) will bring you to your final destination! Also possible to come from the other side, on Rue Eugène-Marziano 25, through the same entrance next to Le Passeur de Vin (wine shop).
