Artur Ejsmont (http://artur.ejsmont.org/blog/) - Gazing into the void: adding visibility to producing and releasing packaged software at Yahoo!7
Yahoo!7 package their own applications in a format like Debian packages. With 170 packages maintained by a team of 5 engineers, they started struggling to keep the process and packages under control, with separate tools for bug tracking, version control, CI, release management, plus tonnes of manual work.
In this talk, Artur will cover the problems they faced with this approach, and how Yahoo!7 built a dashboard to collect data from many sources to help them automate some of the processes, adding visibility they never had before.
