Yes We Can Food Drive

Last Friday I sent out the GKCDFA meeting notice for this coming Wednesday. In it I asked that you join in the Obama National Day of Service program by participating in a ?Yes We Can Food Drive?!

I have since received some "Harvesters" guidelines to follow so items donated will be most beneficial. Here are the rules, so to speak, when determining what to donate.

Product donations should be boxed, bagged or canned. To avoid breakage, please do not donate products in glass containers. Items that can not be accepted are perishable items, home-canned or home-made items. The list of most needed items includes:
? Canned Vegetables
? Canned Fruit
? Boxed Meals (Hamburger Helper, Pasta Roni)
? Canned Meats / Tuna
? Peanut Butter & Jelly
? Canned Soup
? Hot & Cold Cereal
? Soap
? Deodorant
? Shampoo
? Toilet Paper

Let?s do the best we can on this food drive, lots of good folks are depending upon us.
