Advanced Aquaponics: System Design Mechanics and Custom Design Seminar

Have you ever thought that Aquaponics might be something that you would like to try, but you thought that you would like to try and design your own system? Even if you already know a bit about Aquaponics, this workshop will give you a much more solid grasp on the specific mechanics of how to appropriately design systems and make them run as efficiently as possible.

In this workshop, we will have FOUR HOURS of instruction covering all of the information that you would need to design your own custom Aquaponic system.

During this seminar we will coverSystem Design Mechanics where we will present the important facets of designing a custom system. Specifically topics such as materials, plumbing/electrical efficiency, frictional loss/hydrodynamics and much more will be covered, and then we will end with approximately 1 hour for an informal Q&A to discuss some of the tricks we have developed relating to Aquaponic system design. During this time, Green Phoenix Farms staff will be available to provide expert consultation on your designs and concepts.

For a workshop fee of $50, you will receive 4 hours of classroom and hands-on instruction, and each participant will receive a hardcopy training manual that contains all of the information presented (System Design Mechanics).

How much would it cost for a home unit that could supply veggies for a family of 4? Is there someone who can build/install it for me for a fee and provide training?

    August 11, 2013

    • Adam

Linda, we will send you a message. But, to answer your second question -- We can.

I'm leaning on coming but wouldn't 5 hours be 1 to 6pm or 12 to 5pm? or is it just 4 hours 1-5pm? thanks

    • Adam

Larry, that would be a typo on my part... Thanks for catching it. The workshop does run from 1-4pm, so you are right; that is four hours. However, I would be more than happy to stay an extra hour at the end to answer any questions that you (or other attendees) may have regarding your designs.
