What makes aquaponics interesting to you?

I'm interested in learning to build balanced ecosystems that thrive. I love seeing the results of my own handiwork. I'd like to see how a bell valve works and how to build one. I love that a complete and complex meal can be raised in a contained system without too much land and exposure.

What level of aquaponics are you interested in: hobby system, self sufficiency, community focused, or commercial farming? (or all of these)?

All of the above will be useful knowledge, but my focus right now is on community and self sufficiency.

What level of experience do you have with aquaponics?

I work with fish tanks at work, and have some of the basic ideas, but have not explored this knowledge hands on yet. I have most of the equipment I need to get started.

My name is Phillip Crow. I'm a member of the activist community and I am seeking to learn useful skills to help others and feed those in need.
